Description
A small fairy is carried by the mistral wind from the mountains to the garden of an abandoned house on the coast of Provence. She begins to look after the garden and gradually grows accustomed to her new home. She also meets a fairy who lives in a village café, so she is no longer alone. At the local priest’s suggestion, the fairies decide to do a good deed: find the owner of a pair of glasses left behind in the garden pavilion. The glasses belong to an unusual young man named Benedikt, who is compiling a list of winds and believes that a tree taller than one hundred metres exists somewhere in the world. In the end, the fairies set out by sea to another continent to find him. This Czech-language story is intended primarily for children of younger school age.
