Klíče k řešení v krátké terapii – de Shazer Steve (2017)

In one of his most famous books – a true classic on the topic of solution-focused brief therapy – the author uses the metaphor of keys. Complaints are like locks in doors. However, it does not matter how complex these locks are, because opening occurs with the help of a key. The author even comes up with the idea of a universal key, that is, a therapeutic intervention that will work across a wide range of problematic situations. Accordingly, de Shazer states that the solution process is more similar than the problems people are trying to solve. In his book, which is noticeably inspired by Milton Erickson and the MRI Institute, the author returns to the origins of traditional solution-focused therapy techniques (working with preferred futures, exceptions, mapping changes, working with context, etc.) and to the roots of this approach. He describes the experiments his team conducted. His case studies resemble thrilling detective stories.
