Rhymes for practicing the sounds R and Ř. This collection of rhymes for children aged 5 and up is primarily intended for practicing the pronunciation of the sounds R and Ř. The authors, speech therapists, adhere to the rule of one practiced consonant group in each rhyme and the representation of all groups, including less common ones, when writing and subsequently arranging the rhymes. This way, a child can learn a rhyme with just the consonant group (syllable) they have already mastered in words, or alternatively, choose only the combination they are currently practicing under the guidance of a speech therapist. For preschool children, the poems are a source of fun; they enjoy learning them. Therefore, the rhymes accompanied by cheerful illustrations by E. Rémišová can also engage children who have no pronunciation difficulties.
