How to support the development of a child's vocabulary between the ages of three and six? Besides shared reading and looking at books, it involves conversation, talking about what has happened, what awaits us, what we look forward to, and what we like. The first part of the worksheets is dedicated to nouns, specifically to superordinate and subordinate terms. Another important area is adjectives. Children will learn to recognize the various properties of different objects and how to name them correctly. They will also become familiar with different ways to name one thing. It will not be about simple synonyms, but about a certain shift in meaning. Verbs are also an important topic, as they allow us to express who does what and what they can do. Part of communication competence is also the ability to ask for what we need, to thank others for what they have done for us, to compliment what we like, and to use appropriate greetings and farewells. The final tasks therefore focus on these expressions that open the way to other people.
