Description
The year-long project is designed for the oldest age group of preschoolers or younger schoolchildren. The project is developed to meet the requirements of the Framework Educational Program for preschool and primary education and is divided into three parts: A – methodological, B – visual, C – worksheets for children. The individual activities and tasks include selected themes from Czech legends (the past) as well as topics that are close to children (the present) and become part of the daily activities of all age groups. In the project, children explore the theme through their own creative activities and reflections. Additionally, the project incorporates accompanying collective creative activities, such as creating a picture book of Czech legends. The book is based on the concept of art education, and the offered activities connect artistic creation with the development of language skills. The final result is not what matters, but the experience that children take away.
