Zoopark Hustoles - Sloni v ohrožení – Murray Tamsyn (2018)

Anyone who has read the first two books about Zuzka, who lives with her parents and younger brother in the zoo, is surely eager for the continuation. The final part of the trilogy takes us back to the enclosures among the animals living in Hustoles. This time, Zuzka's parents take on a herd of six elephants that must be quickly relocated from another zoo. Zuzka is especially excited about the youngest member of the elephant herd. The four-month-old calf is perhaps the cutest baby Zuzka has ever seen, and everyone is absolutely enchanted by the little elephant. Thus, Zuzka observes how the elephants settle in, what their personalities are like, and how they interact with each other. Her parents also entrust Zuzka with a special task: she will receive a camera to photograph the animals in the zoo, and she can share the really good photos with visitors and fans of Hustoles. What will Zuzka manage to capture? Thanks to the photos, she will also uncover that something is happening among the elephants. The lead female, Sarana, stops eating and isolates herself from the herd, causing great distress to the group. Will the caretakers be able to find out what is troubling Sarana and avert the danger that threatens the elephant?
