Description
In one burrow lives a curious little mouse named Maryška with her family, who is very tempted by the world up above. One morning, she manages to leave the burrow unnoticed, and that kicks off a great adventure. On her journey, the mouse meets various animals with whom she strikes up a conversation, learning many interesting facts about them. For example, she is surprised to find out that a hedgehog can curl up into a ball and that it is a nocturnal hunter, or that ducks have oily feathers to keep them from getting too wet. In the end, Maryška finds her way home, where her parents and siblings are waiting impatiently for her. She doesn't forget to tell them about her experiences and also has to promise that she won't go exploring again without permission.
