Description
This Czech-language novel follows Kimani, who has endured life as a Maasai, a self-appointed guide, an enforcer of God’s will and an undocumented courier. He never imagined that in a foreign country he would find a church welcoming homosexuals and helping them, or that gay Africans could receive asylum in Britain simply because they are gay. Having almost given up hope of remaining in the country he longs for, Kimani sees a new possibility. Can he become a homosexual, even after believing that God hates homosexuals and punishes them through people whose violence leaves bloody wounds on the body and peppery feelings in the soul?
