Description
Greta Lovisa Gustafsson dreamed of becoming a great movie star since she was a child. She is fifteen when she lands an attractive job at a department store in Stockholm. It's a fortunate coincidence, as the family is short on money and Greta must go to work instead of school. But what she earns, she wants to invest in her own future, in acting education. And she indeed auditions for the prestigious acting academy of the Royal Dramatic Theatre. A well-known director, Mauritz Stiller, soon notices the interesting girl. He is fascinated by her personality and charisma and gives her the lead role. And three years later, they set off to Hollywood together. Thus began the divine career of the legendary Greta Garbo.
