Description
Paris in 1876. Eleven-year-old Blanche's family is on the brink of poverty. Her father, a well-known art collector and patron of Claude Monet, lived beyond his means. Blanche, her mother, and siblings move in with the family friend Monet, whose paintings the girl immediately falls in love with. Encouraged by Monet, she picks up a brush. However, her happiness does not last long, as the family is soon struck by heavy blows of fate.
