Description
The adventures from the practice and personal life of young veterinarian Luke take place in a town in southwestern England. Luke starts at the local clinic as a fresh graduate, and part of his job includes night shifts and the local specialty of traveling to farms. The author's "vacation" trips to Greece, India, and Morocco, where he helps out as a volunteer, add some variety. The author also describes his interactions with colleagues at the clinic and his attempts to establish a relationship with veterinarian Cordelia.
