Description
Diana O'Toole has a plan. At thirty, she will get married, have children within five years, move to the suburbs of New York, and simultaneously climb the career ladder in the ruthless world of art auctions. She isn't engaged yet, but she knows her boyfriend, doctor Finn, is about to propose during their romantic trip to the Galapagos – just a few days before her thirtieth birthday. Perfect timing! But then an unknown virus appears in the city, and on the eve of their departure, Finn tells her he has to stay. However, he convinces Diana to at least go on their dream vacation without him... She reluctantly agrees, but everything quickly goes wrong. The entire island is under quarantine, where Diana gets stuck. Completely isolated, she must step outside her comfort zone. She slowly begins to form a bond with a local family and their child, who harbors a secret...
