Description
Augusta and Julia are twins, yet each is different. Augusta loves words the way others adore candy or ice cream, dreaming of trips to exotic places, while Julia is content at home and primarily wants to get married and start a family. Augusta reads a lot, asks many questions, and corrects her teachers at school. She can get on people's nerves, and it must be admitted that she doesn't fit into the small-town neighborhood, so she decides at a young age that when she grows up, she will move far away. Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, a boy named Parfait is growing up in a country ravaged by civil war and incredible poverty. He too dreams of a better life for himself and his family. Although both Augusta and Parfait face many blows of fate, they are determined not to give up on their dreams and both seek a place where they can feel whole and be themselves. A place where they belong.
