Dívky z trajektu – Theilsová Lone (2022)

Journalist Nora Sand has a passion for collecting old suitcases, and when she discovers a particularly fine specimen in a small English village, she never dreams that she might have stumbled upon a real gem. Something about the old Polaroids that tumble out of the suitcase seems off from the very first moment... And then she finally remembers: those two girls in the photos are the ones from the children's home who vanished without a trace on the ferry from Copenhagen to England a few years ago! When she also finds a name tag suggesting that this luggage once belonged to a notorious serial killer, she embarks on a quest to investigate a long-unsolved case. An excellent dark debut that immediately topped the Danish bestseller charts upon its release.
