Mexico, 1925. Seventeen-year-old Frida Kahlo wants to become a doctor. However, a terrible bus accident derails her plans. Then she meets Diego Rivera, a famous painter and heartbreaker, and falls head over heels in love with him. When Diego proposes, she immediately agrees.
