Description
Joely's personal life is falling apart – her husband is having an affair with her best friend. So, Joely, who works as a ghostwriter writing about the secrets and scandals of others, decides to throw herself into a new work assignment: she has to write the story of the famous writer Freda. No one must know about this assignment, so Joely secretly travels to Freda's house in a remote location. From the start, Freda is mysterious, and it seems that this task will truly be Joely's strangest yet. She listens to a story that took place over fifty years ago when Freda, as a young fifteen-year-old girl, fell in love with her music teacher. As the tale unfolds, Freda behaves increasingly enigmatically and eventually, as if by chance, locks Joely in the tower of her house and leaves. Desperate, Joely is trapped high above the ground, completely alone without any phone signal. She has no idea where her host has disappeared to and begins to worry about her loved ones. Therefore, she devises a risky escape plan...
