Deníček moderního fotra aneb Proč by muži neměli mít děti – Landsman Dominik (2021)

When Dominik Landsman was about to become a father for the first time, he decided to start a blog where he would truthfully – and let’s emphasize this word! – describe the trials and joys of an 'ordinary' guy next door who has just had a son. Initially an uninvolved dad, experiencing the baby somewhat from a distance, he soon becomes a 'father on parental leave,' and thus begins the struggle for survival for both of them and the preservation of family well-being. It must be said that his son Čeněk is a very active child, but also destructive, and every bit of progress made by the child usually leaves the exhausted dad with scars on his soul and body. The main thing is that the child is thriving, no matter what it costs. The blog subsequently became a book, which had several sequels – and in 2021, a film directed by Jan Haluz with Tereza Ramba and Jiří Mádl in the lead roles was released in theaters.
