Description
Raühnval, a wealthy principality in the Eastern Alps. Young Marcus leads a privileged life as the son of the local feudal lord. Until the day a terrible massacre occurs, in which his entire family and the other inhabitants of the castle are slaughtered. Marcus survives thanks to the help of Eloisa, the daughter of a midwife, and the simple villagers take him in. However, the cruel rule of the new prince causes a bold plan to begin to brew within Marcus – he wants to fight for a free and just life not only for himself but for all the other serfs in the principality.
