Description
When the body of a young woman is found beneath a layer of ice in a park in south London, Detective Chief Inspector Erika Foster arrives at the scene. The victim, a beautiful girl from a powerful, wealthy family, appears to have had a perfect life. As Erika investigates more deeply, links emerge between the murder and the deaths of three prostitutes who were strangled, bound and thrown into bodies of water around London. What connects the daughter of an influential lobbyist, who believes he can influence the investigation, with the dead immigrant women? What dark secret was the girl in the ice hiding? The closer Erika comes to the truth, the closer the killer gets to her. Her previous case ended in disaster and the deaths of five police officers, including her husband, and now her career hangs by a thread as she battles her own demons and a murderer more terrifying than anyone she has faced before. Can she catch him before he strikes again? The book is in Czech.
