Description
The publication discusses a brief period of motorcycle production by the company Jawa, during which it achieved success in world markets with its Californian model. The fact that motorcycles were, with few exceptions, intended only for sale to foreign customers, primarily from the USA, cast a certain veil of mystery over the Jawa Californian motorcycles. Those interested in the history of Czechoslovak motorcycle production, as well as owners and fans of the Jawa brand, will find a detailed mapping of the technology of these motorcycles, including detailed descriptions of all produced versions. The second edition of this successful publication has been expanded with three chapters, including modifications of police motorcycles, which are increasingly appearing among vintage enthusiasts, changes in production, the relocation and technological capabilities of the factory, and especially an overview of experiences with renovations. The book also significantly updates the photographic documentation and brings many interesting details and novelties that the author managed to obtain.
