The book is intended for paramedics, emergency doctors, and students. The author is the head of the emergency service in Slovakia, teaches at the Slovak Medical University, and conducts courses in both the Czech and Slovak Republics. She is the author, co-author, and reviewer of successful books on similar topics. The manuscript was reviewed by Prof. MUDr. Viliam Bada, CSc., and MUDr. Jana Šeblová, Ph.D.
