The importance of psychology in the entire medical field is increasingly recognized, and psychological topics are now part of most curricula. However, as the authors of this book have discovered, medical students face numerous obstacles that prevent them from studying psychological topics. Firstly, psychology is often considered a "soft" science in medicine. It's a bit like tripe soup – students either love it or hate it!
