Description
Bára’s first journey into the past takes her to Troy at the moment when the hero Achilles is arguing with Agamemnon. After returning, she discovers that Achilles’ friend Patroclus will pay for the quarrel with his life. She tries to get back in order to warn Achilles and eventually succeeds, but fate places her not in the Achaean camp, but in besieged Troy. She quickly learns that her knowledge of Greek myths is of little use, that Paris and Helen’s story is quite different, and that she may care more about the fate of the Trojans than the Achaeans. Yet the destinies of the heroes on both sides are so closely linked that Hector, the Trojan prince, can survive only if Patroclus remains alive. Bára therefore has no choice but to embark on a life-threatening journey to the Achaean camp. The contents are in Czech.
