Anatomie 2 – Čihák Radomír (2013)

The second part of the excellent textbook contains the anatomy of the gastropulmonary and urogenital systems and the endocrine gland system. These are key sections for physiology, pathology, and clinical practice. The textbook highlights both basic facts for medical students and developmental and functional aspects. Compared to the previous edition, the text of this part has been supplemented with the latest findings, particularly in areas related to organ development, genetics, and embryology. This part has been edited and supplemented by Prof. MUDr. Radomír Čihák, DrSc., and Prof. MUDr. Miloš Grim, DrSc. The visual documentation has been expanded by nearly 60 new images and photographs, so the text now includes almost 500 predominantly color illustrations, which are original works by the staff of the Department of Anatomy. The multi-part anatomy set by the main author Prof. MUDr. Radomír Čihák, DrSc., is considered one of the peaks of our professional literature both in terms of didactics and in terms of illustrations, precision, and execution.
