Description
This time, the atlas sent Bára back in time, albeit during the day, but it placed her almost in the middle of the Nile, where hungry crocodiles were swimming. Luckily, a hunter named Maimose was nearby by a happy coincidence! Or was it really a coincidence? Is it possible that the cat goddess Bastet led Maimose to the spot so that the crocodiles wouldn't feast on Bára? Either way, it seems that Bastet has certain plans for Bára. When Bára falls asleep in her temple, the green-eyed goddess delivers a mysterious message to her in a dream: "May a noble heart and the strength of a lion accompany the soul of Ra to the white walls - the deceased Great God must not die! Sekhmet calls you!" The search for the meaning of the message will lead Bára, Maimose, and his brother Neferiba not only to uncover a conspiracy against the Egyptian king Menkaure (which is another historical twist, as the Egyptians do not even know the word pharaoh!), but ultimately deep into the heart of the pyramid...
