Vychovatelství - Učebnice teoretických základů oboru – Bendl Stanislav (2015)

This publication will guide students and other readers through the theoretical foundations of the field of EDUCATION. It contains insights from general and social pedagogy, the philosophy of education, leisure pedagogy, multicultural education, as well as content from social psychology, special pedagogy, and the theory of functional literacy. Education is an attractive but demanding profession that places ever-new demands on its representatives and presents them with various challenges. Mastering these with professional detachment means primarily transferring knowledge from pedagogical and psychological sciences into everyday educational reality. Learning to think in pedagogical contexts, learning to draw from pedagogical theory and practice, learning to be a reflective practitioner: these are the goals of higher education for educators. To assist all students in the field of education, a seven-member team of university teachers from the Faculty of Education at Charles University in Prague has prepared this basic textbook, which covers a substantial part of the pedagogical-psychological subjects in the field.
