After the successful publication of "Sonography of the Major Neck Vessels," which received an award from a professional society and was quickly sold out, the author took on the task of writing a comprehensive publication that covers sonographic examination of the entire vascular system. The book is intended for doctors who are starting with ultrasound diagnostics, but useful information and tips can also be found by "advanced" practitioners. The book contains a review of vascular sonography, examination techniques with normal findings. Subsequent chapters include pathological findings and conditions after surgeries and interventions, all of course concerning both arterial and venous vascular systems. The text section is supplemented with 1222 illustrative images on the accompanying DVD. A didactic publication of similar scope and quality in this field is not yet available on our market. It will be appreciated not only by doctors in imaging departments but also by internists, angiologists, cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and general practitioners.
