Description
This Czech-language paperback presents social psychology as an integral science of human behaviour, viewed as the most organically complex level of life processes. It explores selected topics in social psychology through the applied concept of social effectiveness, expressed as social-psychological synergy. Social effectiveness serves as a theoretical model linking different approaches within social psychology. The discussion is structured around spatially defined areas of behaviour—individual, group and society—and complemented by a temporal perspective examining successive stages of development, including biological determinants, socialisation factors and the ethical aspects of individuation. A third perspective is provided by ethics, including the relationship between hedonism and eudaimonia. The book also draws on anthropology, philosophy, economics, history, religious studies and ethics, making it suitable not only for students of social psychology but also for anyone interested in related social sciences. The contents are in Czech.
