Description
The second part of the textbook is intended for both foreign and Czech students preparing for studies in medicine, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, and natural sciences, where chemistry is not the main subject of study. It focuses on basic knowledge of organic chemistry, natural product chemistry, and biochemistry. The chapters are supplemented with review questions and examples for thorough practice of the material covered. New solutions to exercises on the nomenclature of organic compounds have been added. A summary of characteristic groups according to their importance (priority) and notes on nomenclature are also included.
