Description
This Czech-language textbook is designed to support the long-term teaching of Czech in the Czech Republic and abroad. Developed in cooperation with departments of Charles University, its teaching materials were comprehensively reviewed and tested in lessons before publication. It follows the principles of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and meets the requirements of the European certified CCE-B1 Czech examination and the cultural knowledge test for obtaining citizenship. The methodology has been verified by teachers in practice and recognized in expert reviews. Language functions are taught in the context of real communication situations, with entertaining texts and humorous illustrations by the acclaimed artist Jiří Franta. This second edition has been thoroughly updated, expands the phonetics section, features a new graphic design and includes new downloadable materials.
