Atlas náboženství Česka – Havlíček Tomáš (2018)

The Atlas of Religions in the Czech Republic presents the first extensive and comprehensive geographical analysis of the religious landscape of the Czech Republic and its changes since the beginning of societal transformation after 1989. The atlas is divided into three parts: the first part introduces the regional distribution of selected religious groups among the population, the second part focuses on the distribution of sacred sites in the landscape using ten model areas as examples, and the third part analyzes the relationships between religion and selected spatial, socioeconomic, and demographic phenomena. Each chapter consists of a cartographic and a textual section that explain the distribution of the analyzed phenomenon in space within a general context. Thus, the atlas explains the spatial aspects of religiosity in Czech society and reflects its past and present development, diversity, and influence by global trends.
