This Czech-language textbook is the third volume in a course for learners of Czech as a foreign language, following the previous A1 and A2 volumes. It is intended for teenagers and adults who need to master Czech at B1 level. Communication-focused and using no intermediary language, it systematically develops all four language skills in the style of modern language textbooks: reading comprehension, speaking, listening and writing. The material emphasises natural dialogue reflecting everyday conversation, while the author's extensive experience with intensive teaching and introducing foreign speakers to the Czech environment enriches the book with valuable sociocultural context and explanations of the specific features of Czech usage. Based on the principles of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, the textbook is designed to help users meet the requirements of the certified CCE B1 examination.
