Basic Czech III. – group of authors (2016)

Basic Czech III is a continuation of the titles Basic Czech I and Basic Czech II. It consists of 6 lessons (around 2000 words and phrases) and methodologically draws from a communicative and comparative approach. The textbook can be used in both intensive and two-semester courses as well as other courses. It is also suitable for self-study. A key is available in the appendix for all exercises. All words and phrases are included in a Czech-English glossary at the end of each lesson. The grammatical and lexical material covered in this volume already exceeds the level of knowledge typically referred to as basic. However, in order to maintain formal continuity across all three volumes, we have kept the title 'Basic Czech.' With its grammatical and lexical composition, this textbook corresponds to level B1-B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
