Description
The language textbook Grundlagen der Sportsprache is primarily intended for students of the Bachelor's degree program in Physical Education and Sport at Charles University FTVS, who are learning the German language as part of accredited compulsory subjects. The selection of thematic areas was made so that they can also be applied in the training of professionals in the study program Specialization in Healthcare. The texts will also serve students of related study programs and fields, listeners of coaching schools, and other interested parties who wish to acquire the basics of the language of sport. The German-Czech glossary of professional terms - approximately 900 entries - included at the end of the textbook will facilitate not only working with the presented texts but also expand vocabulary and contribute to the development of the ability to communicate at a professional level. The package includes a CD with audio recordings. The textbook can be used in a course, but it is also suitable for self-study.
