Description
This Czech-language study examines the motor performance of younger primary-school pupils attending practical elementary schools and the way it changes over one year, taking into account the causes and degree of their intellectual disabilities. The assessment of selected fitness- and coordination-related motor abilities serves only as a starting point. The author follows their development in relation to the children’s individual intellectual disabilities and also considers the social factors influencing the development of movement abilities in this part of the school population.
