Description
The continuation of the extensive project Repertoria of manuscripts from the 17th and 18th centuries follows the first volume, which was also published in two volumes in 2003. It contains a list of preserved Bohemian manuscripts from museum collections in places starting with the letters K-L (Volume 1) and M-O (Volume 2). A significant portion of the manuscripts again consists of prayer books, moralistic writings, medical books, and other practical manuals for everyday life in the Czech countryside and small towns of the 17th and 18th centuries. The publication systematizes and supplements difficult-to-access and scattered data and highlights manuscripts with notable artistic quality through a rich visual supplement.
