Description
This foundational undergraduate and postgraduate textbook of general neurology summarises the anatomy and physiology of the human nervous system and describes the principles governing its function in both physiological and pathological conditions. The first part introduces basic anatomical and neurophysiological terminology, as well as the fundamental symptoms, syndromes, syndrome complexes and clinical manifestations of neurological diseases. It also describes clinical methods for testing the nervous system during examination, making it a textbook of neurological propaedeutics as well. The second part explains the principles, procedures and interpretation of results of the paraclinical instrumental examinations essential to clinical neurology.
