Description
On 28 February 1986, Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme is shot in central Stockholm on a cold winter evening. The unsolved murder of the controversial social-democratic politician becomes the largest criminal investigation in Swedish history and a national trauma. Was it a random killing, the work of a madman, a conspiracy or an assassination with a political motive? More than thirty years later, the very different police commissioners Stina Forss and Ingrid Nyström come across a promising lead and begin investigating. They soon discover that they have disturbed a hornet’s nest. Reopening the case awakens dark forces determined to prevent the background to the assassination from being exposed at any cost. Their unconditional fight to uncover the truth turns into a merciless struggle for life and death.
