Description
It is spring, the year is 1943. A tense atmosphere prevails in Reykjavik – Iceland has been occupied by the Americans. In this uneasy time, a man is brutally stabbed to death in the city center, near a pub frequently visited by soldiers. Commissioner Flóvent and his Canadian colleague Thorson from the military police begin their investigation. Flóvent is also dealing with a second case: a corpse has washed ashore on the beach in the bay near Nauthólsvík. Are both deaths related to wartime events? The two investigators soon find themselves on very thin ice in their quest to find the perpetrator...
