Description
The year is 1975. A devastated mother has her newborn child torn from her arms. The year is 2010. In a park in Dublin, Ireland, the body of an elderly woman is found in the middle of winter. The case is taken up by experienced inspector Tom Reynolds. He is convinced that the murder is connected to the history of the infamous Magdalene laundries, where 'fallen women' were sent in the 19th century. Reynolds and his team trace the killer's trail to a remote monastery in the Irish countryside. Christmas is approaching, but the team of detectives soon begins to fear that they won't be returning to their loved ones anytime soon. Once they arrive at the scene, it becomes clear to everyone that the killer is close by... and that he intends to take revenge for sins of the past...
