Description
The story based on the film of the same name by Jan Svěrák tells of a plush toy. A teddy bear named Kuky, who experiences something no stuffed bear has ever experienced before. Kuky is the favorite toy of little Ondra. However, his mother throws the plush toy into the trash because it is shedding wood wool, which is not good for Ondra's asthma. Before bed, Ondra imagines how Kuky tries to get home from the dump, how he meets strange creatures in the forest that live under tree roots and race around in peculiar vehicles. In this wilderness, there is no cuddling, so Kuky is left to face everything alone. He must take his plush mind into his own paws, learn to overcome fear, make friends, and understand the wisdom of the forest. Then maybe he will find his way home and perhaps even become a hero.
