The story of the largest system of waterworks in Bohemia, consisting of a set of nine water structures built gradually from 1930 to 1992. This unique work of human ingenuity and labor on our iconic river is presented in this lavish publication through many unique historical and contemporary photographs, including aerial shots and drone footage. The book was created in collaboration with the ČEZ Group and the state enterprise Povodí Vltavy and is published to mark the 20th anniversary of the devastating floods in 2002.
