Description
Beyah can't wait to leave the past behind and embark on a journey to better tomorrows. Only two short months stand between her and the dream future she envisions. Until an unexpected death leaves Beyah with nowhere to go. Thus, she is forced to spend the rest of the summer on a peninsula in Texas with a father she barely knows. Beyah plans to keep her head down and let the summer flow smoothly, but her new neighbor Samson disrupts that plan. Samson and Beyah have nothing in common at first glance. She comes from a poor family with no prospects, while he is wealthy and privileged. However, they share one thing: they are both drawn to sad things. Which means they are drawn to each other...
