In his gifted hands, paper and pen can conjure wondrous spells. However, Al is not entirely alone – he is part of a global network of agents who use their abilities to protect the world from malicious gods and strange monsters. So when a fellow agent mysteriously disappears in Australia under sinister circumstances, Al leaves the cozy pubs and cafes of Glasgow and heads to the Dandenong Ranges in Victoria to solve the mystery.
