Description
The book contains 17 songs with sheet music and photographs from the musical Branický zázrak by Jan Svěrák and Tomáš Klus. Singer-songwriter Karel Krajíček has reached middle age and wonders where his youth, fame, joy of life, and now even his bike from the garage have gone. He comes to terms with the fact that no one will return his youth, and all the more he wants at least his bike back. The police seem helpless, so Krajíček decides to uncover and punish the thieving homeless on his own. Although he fails to do so, he gains hope that he might find an answer to what truly troubles him in life. It is said that all he needs to do is spend a night during the full moon in a magical grove by the fire with the homeless. The civil realities of Prague's periphery and the plot involving the stolen bicycle create a volatile mix in combination with the noble tones of music. Humorous exaggeration effortlessly conveys a message that the audience can take away in their hearts.
