Marmeláda a její sardinky – Pelíšková Zuzana (2022)

Not everyone gets to experience such extraordinary and adventurous holidays as the little girl nicknamed Marmeláda! First, she and her father, the owner of a canning factory, set off to catch overpopulated sardines in the Turquoise Sea, from which they bring back several cans with their own labels. Upon returning, her aunt Žužu – a passionate herbalist – accidentally mixes up a real magic spell, triggering a chain of incredible events! The spell also enchants the sardines in Marmeláda's cans, and instead of enjoying a peaceful lunch, the fish jump out of the cans, start causing mischief, and can't be stopped. But that's when the fun starts to fade... Catching the mischievous sardines is no easy task. An attempt to launch them into space to get rid of them fails when a lonely astronaut on the International Space Station catches them. Marmeláda's grandfather – an enthusiastic scientist and inventor – quickly devises a rocket made of jelly and flies off to help with his grandchildren. Will they manage to stop the sardines from causing chaos? A funny and thrilling story with sci-fi elements that tells us that when a family sticks together, they can overcome even the most ridiculous mess. Suitable for children aged 6 and up.
