Description
In a luxurious villa neighborhood south of Prague, a well-organized gang of thieves is on the loose. They are responsible for over 120 burglaries, yet they make no mistakes and leave no traces. The police have deployed several teams to the field, but the gang remains elusive. The only silver lining is that the robbers avoid confrontations with property owners and choose abandoned houses. Nevertheless, fear is growing among the people, as they believe it is only a matter of time before something happens to someone. The audacity of the thieves knows no bounds, and they even strike on Christmas Eve, stealing not only valuables but also gifts from under the tree in several homes. These thefts seem to follow a pattern until a dead woman is found in one house. The next day, another dead woman, the friend of the first victim, is discovered in a neighboring villa. A team of investigators from the Prague police arrives at the scene and is astonished to find that the writer Monika Hrubešová is once again involved in the case...
