Description
Maeve finds a package of strange tarot cards at school and eagerly begins studying how to read the future. When she starts reading the cards for her classmates, she initially treats it as a fun game. Her classmates are excited by her talent, and nothing else is talked about at school. But then Maeve's former friend Lily draws a disturbing card called The Landlady, which shouldn't be in the deck. Maeve refuses to tell Lily what the card means, and the girls end up arguing over it. Their passionate dispute concludes with Maeve's thoughtless statement that she would prefer it if Lily disappeared. However, on Monday, Lily does not come to school, and when Maeve asks about her, she learns that she has vanished...
