Zlomený génius – Murray Andrew (2021)

Will Parker, a young genius director of a large technology company, makes a programming error that results in the death of a college student. To atone for his guilt, he begins working in the FBI's cyber division. As a special agent, he is tasked with investigating a murder scene at the Comic-Con festival, where the victim has a connection to a quantum computer that Will once tried to acquire. In collaboration with sharp inspector Dana Lopez and his uptight FBI colleague Thomas Decker, Will discovers that the victim was auctioning the device on the dark net – and that the auction, in which a legendary Chinese hacker, Russian mobsters sent by the Kremlin, and a manager from a significant company are bidding, is still ongoing. Soon, Will finds himself once again holding another person's life in his hands, as the daughter of the murdered man is kidnapped. The trail of blood and technical clues pulls Will deeper into a whirlpool of mysteries and dangers. If he doesn't manage to uncover the perpetrator in time, the device, which holds almost unlimited power, could fall into the wrong hands...
