Description
The law firm Finley & Figg in the Chicago suburbs is not doing very well. It has a poor and dubious clientele, and its aging owners are desperately looking for that one 'big case' that will make them rich enough to retire. Then, David Zinc literally stumbles into their lives. A young and ambitious Harvard graduate, who one morning on his way to a large law firm, where he works himself to exhaustion, has an anxiety attack. He runs away and, by coincidence, ends up in the office of Finley & Figg just as Wally Figg decides to sue a giant pharmaceutical company for allegedly harming health with a certain drug. Together with David, they embark on a major trial, even though Wally has only stood before a judge a few times in his life. And against them stands a corporation with legions of renowned attorneys...
